Blanchard's coal yard and possible site of John Cloes' blacksmith shop - Blanchard's coal yard and possible site of John Cloes' blacksmith shop and built by Ben Cloes with bricks from his brickyard. This circa 1930 photo shows the southeast corner of Sheridan Road and Blodgett Avenue. The house is thought to have been built by the Mannings. The Blanchard Company was based in Lake Forest and had a branch yard at 755 Sheridan Road. The Company was owned by George Blanchard.

K. Stearns in 1896 for $8,000. Other transfers include Blodgett to Durand, Stearns to Herbert Angster, Thomas Stearns to Grace Stanley. Also included are two sketches by Vliet showing some of the land being transferred.
