Local historian Elmer Vliet cut the ribbon with Philip Speidel, Chairman of The First National Bank of Lake Forest, and village president Robert Davis. This report mentions Vice President and Cashier John Andersen and "the three ladies who make up our staff..." The report presents statements of condition and earnings, mentions it affiliate relationship with The First National Bank of Lake Forest. The lease on the current building expired September 1, 1969. The second Annual Report states that the bank secured options to purchase three lots lying just east of Oak Street / Oak Avenue on the north side of East Scranton Avenue (120 East Scranton Avenue.) The Village rezoned the lots for business purposes and the new building will be ready when the lease expires.
