An Architectural and Historic Survey of the Camp Meeting Area of Lake Bluff that was completed in 1998. Additional information about the property is available at the Lake Bluff History Museum. 456 Sunrise Avenue Built in 1889 to be shared by Honeywells and the family of Dr. Jervis Gaylord Evans, president of Hedding College and head of the Lake Bluff Camp Meeting Association cultural programs. When Honeywell found that the Evans were living in the unit that faced Lake Michigan, he had the entire building rotated 90 degrees so that both units had a view of the lake. Honeywell's daughter and son-in-law, Reverend and Mrs. Thomas Beall, came to live with the Honeywells, and several more additions and modifications were made. ~ Elmer Vliet The grand daughters, Yolanda and Cornelia Beall, lived in the house until the mid 1970s.
