11. Hotel Irving - This card is really an advertisement containing a drawing of hotel and listing managers: J. Irving Pearce Sherman House; J.B. Hobbs; C.W. Lasher. Back of card is more advertising for the hotel. "This is a summer resting place for Business and Literary Men, for families and children, for invalids and all others who desire rest, recreation, pleasure and good society." Part of the Camp Meeting era, the Hotel Irving was located at Moffett, Prospect, Center and Maple Aves. The hotel was built in 1883 and burned down in 1897.

16. Letter of Inspection Response - Letter of Inspection (Doc 2317) Response Letter from E.P. Babcock to Leif W. Rabe describing the superficial condition of the Moffett Road Bridge. Babcock could not determine whether the bridge was in safe condition because a majority of the floor beams are encased in concrete and cannot be seen. Babcock gives a recommendation that a thorough inspection be made of the bridge by a competent structural engineer. Additionally, he gives next steps on what needs to be done to the bridge before the inspection can happen.

32. Sewer Study of 1971 - Sewer Study of 1971 Presented to the Village Board as the League of Women Voters had been concerned about the problem of sewage contamination. The League conducted a study at Evanston Avenue and Moffett Road that found results that were indicative of sanitary sewage contamination. The League compiled their results and presented their findings to the Village of Lake Bluff Commissioners.

SERVICES HELD TUESDAY AT FORT SHERIDAN FOR MRS. RAYMOND HACK, who died in her home on Prospect Avenue. HOLD SERVICES SATURDAY FOR MRS. KATHERINE HOLVAY IN ST. MARY'S CHURCH. She lived on North Avenue SERVICES ARE HELD SATURDAY MORNING FOR ROBERT DOUGLAS, 83 of Moffett Road.
