1. Indian Tree Dedication - Five typed pages written by Mabel Vliet about her recollections on the Indian Trail Tree dedication meeting that took place in 1936. The were ladies from the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and were later taken to the site of the Indian Trail Tree on North Avenue by Elmer Vliet. A boulder would be provided by the city and the DAR would affix a inscribed tablet acknowledging the trail tree. Mabel also gives antidotes about her Swedish family.

2. J. Bronson & Alice Gridley - Two obituaries of J. Bronson Gridley who died January 3, 1990. Bronson was past commander of Lake Bluff American Legion Post 510, served in World War II and was retired from Allstate Insurance Company. An obituary for Alice Gridley who died May 29, 2007. Alice and Bronson moved to Lake Bluff in 1960, where they were active in the community and were founders of the Freedom Academy and the Tri-County Republican Club. Alice was a long time member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Lake Forest. Their son, Bruce Gridley, was elected president of Black Hawk society, Children of the American Revolution, which was sponsored by the North Shore chapter, Daughters of the America Revolution. Also several articles from the early 1960s.about the Women's Republican Club, also known as the Tri-County Republican Club. The Gridley's lived at 223 East Scranton Avenue

3. Lake County Star - Matinee Idol Captures Crowd Lake Forest Plan Commission Looks to Future Lake Bluff West Terrace Residents Greet Board - there was discussion concerning the problem of Transporting East and West Terrace children to the Lake Bluff School. Mrs. G. Neal was in favor of having a bus service for the Terrace and that a traffic signal should be installed at the intersection of Green Bay Road and highway Route 176. Mrs. Neal said the school board will not service this area with a bus because the stated tonnage on the Green Bay Road bridge is four tons and a school bus with a full load averages eight tons. The board said they were looking into a traffic light and agreed to have the bridge made. Recover Stolen Cars in Pieces. A smashed black 1955 Chevy belonging to Lake Bluff's Don Able was discovered by the Lake Forest police on Lake Road. Grace Methodist has church vacation school Bruce Gridley of 223 East Scranton Avenue selected by DAR because of his excellent scholarship record.
