Matinee Idol Captures Crowd Lake Forest Plan Commission Looks to Future Lake Bluff West Terrace Residents Greet Board - there was discussion concerning the problem of Transporting East and West Terrace children to the Lake Bluff School. Mrs. G. Neal was in favor of having a bus service for the Terrace and that a traffic signal should be installed at the intersection of Green Bay Road and highway Route 176. Mrs. Neal said the school board will not service this area with a bus because the stated tonnage on the Green Bay Road bridge is four tons and a school bus with a full load averages eight tons. The board said they were looking into a traffic light and agreed to have the bridge made. Recover Stolen Cars in Pieces. A smashed black 1955 Chevy belonging to Lake Bluff's Don Able was discovered by the Lake Forest police on Lake Road. Grace Methodist has church vacation school Bruce Gridley of 223 East Scranton Avenue selected by DAR because of his excellent scholarship record. |
