Dating to about 1902, it was built with lumber from the Grace Methodist Church that was torn down because it had been erected in the public right-of-way. The Merchant Block was destroyed by fire in 1917, even though the fire department was located next door in the village hall.

Bunting and his family lived next to the Tuckers on Center Ave in the 1910s. In the 1920's the Buntings lived at 821 Moffett. Then, in the 1930s the Buntings lived on Ravine. 16. Hotel Irving - This card is really an advertisement containing a drawing of hotel and listing managers: J. Irving Pearce Sherman House; J.B. Hobbs; C.W. Lasher. Back of card is more advertising for the hotel. "This is a summer resting place for Business and Literary Men, for families and children, for invalids and all others who desire rest, recreation, pleasure and good society." Part of the Camp Meeting era, the Hotel Irving was located at Moffett, Prospect, Center and Maple Aves. The hotel was built in 1883 and burned down in 1897.
