  7. Letters About Use of High School Tennis Courts - Letters About Use of High School Tennis Courts (1) Letter from Edgar Peske to George Rogers, President of the Board of Education asking for use of the Lake Forest High School tennis courts as the permanent surfaces would be beneficial to the Club's players as the Club's courts are made of clay and are sometimes unusable for several weeks after rain, this interrupts weekend play during the summer. (2) Letter from Lillian C. Tucker, Secretary of the Board of Education to Edgar Peske detailing that she received his letter about the use of Lake Forest High School tennis courts and that his letter will be read at the next board meeting. (3) Letter from Lillian C. Tucker, Secretary of the Board of Education to Edgar Peske detailing that his letter was read at the board meeting and that the Board would require more information before giving an answer. The Board wants a schedule as to when they would use the school's courts, however, the Board has denied this request to other group and is finding it difficult to grant their request. Yet, they are malleable in their decision if the Club absolutely cannot use their own courts and the Board can be compensated enough. (4) Letter from Edgar Peske to Lillian C. Tucker explaining they only want to use the High School tennis courts during times of adverse weather conditions which make their courts unplayable. Additionally, they cannot provide an advance schedule to the Board per the Board's request. Peske also asks for clarification on the policy regarding the Highland Park tennis courts and their use for a fee. (5) Letter from Lillian C. Tucker, Secretary of the Board of Education to Edgar Peske detailing that his letter inquiring about the Board's policy relative to the Highland Park tennis courts was also read at a Board meeting. According to the Board, the Highland Park tennis courts have a fee in order to keep them open to the public. The Board would love to accommodate them if the Club's tennis courts are ever not playable. (6) Letter from Edgar Peske to Lillian C. Tucker thanking her for the public use of the High School courts, however their use of the courts will be infrequent and only need them during the times of tournament play.
