The Odd Fellow Patriarchs Militant is a semi-military, uniformed branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. The IOOF feathered hat, known as a Chapeau, has black straps on both sides of the hat, with both white and brown feathers along the top. There is a design in the middle of the hat of a cane and a sword crossed, with red fringe outlining it. The inside of the hat of the hat is lined with black lining and has a silver stamp reading "THE LILLEY CO. (surrounded by wreath)" ad a small sticker that says "7 1/4" |
