Letters Regarding General Douglas MacArthur's Motorcade - April 25th, 1951 Letter from the Village Board to the citizens of Lake Bluff encouraging the townspeople to gather uptown with American flags to greet General Douglas MacArthur as his motorcade passes through. May 14th, 1951 Letter addressed to the Village President, Harmon Woodworth, congratulating the board and the village in coordinating General Douglas MacArthur's motorcade to pause in Lake Bluff for the General to lay a wreath on the war memorial. Both letters are typed.

Paul Robinson, Jr. - Five newspaper articles about Paul Robinson, Jr. United States Ambassador to Canada, returning home to Lake Bluff to deliver the Memorial Day address in May 1985, as well as preside over the dedication of the War Memorial.
