5. East School Lake Bluff IL - Color photograph showing East Elementary School, which opened in 1895 and was known as the Lake Bluff School. The address was 121 E. Sheridan Place, it occupied the south west corner of E. Sheridan Place and Vincent Ct. Additions were made in the 1930's and 1950's to house a growing population. When a new Junior High and two new elementary school were built this building become known as East School. The building was last used for classrooms in 2009 and the administration offices moved out in 2010.
