Ordinance for the Making and Construction of a Connected Sewer System in Lake Bluff - Ordinance for the Making and Construction of a Connected Sewer System in Lake Bluff Section 1: That a local improvement be made in Lake Bluff by forming, making, establishing, and constructing a sewer and sewers together with the necessary cross and out-let or out-fall sewers, to constitute a sewer system combining various streets into one connected system. Section 2: The recommendation of the Board of Local Improvements of Lake Bluff, providing for such improvement, together with the estimate of the cost thereof, made by the Village Engineer of said Village. Section 3: That said improvement shall be made, and the whole cost be paid for by special assessment in accordance with an act of the General Assembly of the State of Illinois, entitle "An Act Concerning Local Improvements" Section 4: That the aggregate amount herin ordered to be assessed against the property, shall be divided into 10 installments, the first of which installments shall include 10 percent of the assessment, and the aggregate amount of each of the remaining installments shall be equal in amount and multiples of $100. Section 5: For the purpose of anticipating the collection of the second and succeeding installments of said assessments for said improvement. Section 6: That the Village Attorney be, and he is hereby directed to file a petition in the County Court, in the name of Lake Bluff, praying that steps may be taken to levy a special assessment for said improvement in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance and in the manner prescribed by law. Section 7: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances conflicting with this Ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 8: This Ordinance shall be in force from and after its passage.
