League of Women Voters Documents Pertaining to Lake County Government - Several documents drafted by the League of Women Voters that Pertain to Lake County Government First Document is background on how to obtain Home Rule in Lake County. Home Rule is a constitutional provision that allows local governments more authority to make decisions about their communities. Home Rule gives local officials more flexibility to address local issues.
