An obituary for Janet Nelson, Lake Bluff History Museum co-founder - A typed obituary for Janet Nelson, Lake Bluff History Museum co-founder. Janet wore many hats in the village : she was a 2nd grade teacher, librarian and school principal. She served on the Lake Forest High School board from 2002-2007. In 1982 Janet, along with Kathy O'Hara, founded the Vliet Center for Lake Bluff History, now referred to as the Lake Bluff History Museum. She died in Lake Elmo, MN where she had been living since 2003.
