   A 3.5 x 2.25 envelope from the Munch's pharmacy. The writing on the envelope reads: Lake Bluff Pharmacy G. W. Munch 40 Scranton Lake Bluff, ILL. Phone: Lake Bluff 698. The pharmacy later became the temporary location of the library and Munch had living space on the second floor. It was later demolished after his assistant, Howie Willms bought the business, and built a new brick story building for his pharmacy at 100 East Scranton Avenue

However the request for a permit was denied by the Building Commissioner, as the request did not conform to new zoning laws. Claire asks for a special permit that would allow the construction to continue despite the new zoning laws as this falls under the new war restrictions. Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster to Mr. and Mrs, Weber regarding their rejected application for an addition by the Building Commissioner. McMaster asks for updated blue prints of the addition, including the type of fireproofing the contractor intends to use. Afterwards steps can be taken to present the matter to the Board of Appeals Original Envelope is included.
