Marion Weber, Singer and Ex-Radio Executive - Section 2 of the February 25th, 1988 Chicago Tribune with the obituary for Marion Claire Weber. Marion Claire Cook Weber was an internationally known opera singer in the late 1920s and 1930s. In 1942, she sang in the Hollywood film Make a Wish. In 1942 she joined her husband, Henry Weber, in producing the Chicago Theater of the Air program on WGN radio. She was the daughter of Grace and Horace Cook and lived at 700 East Center Avenue.
