There is a barn behind the restaurant with a painted sign advertising the movie Robin Hood, played by Douglas Fairbanks. According to the 1924 telephone book there was F. H. Lunch Room at 614 Sheridan Road. In the foreground is a billboard with a hand pointing right, advertising Mrs. Tatar's lunch room down the street on East Scranton Avenue. In the 1917 phone book the name is spelled Tartar. This photo was taken as part of a Lake Bluff Improvement Study, 1923. See also Photo 528.
