Lake Bluff's Library is Center of Contention - Article in the Chicago Tribune details how only 9 out of the 500 households in Knollwood paid $125 for non-resident library cards and the proposal to levy the whole town is "anti-democratic". Public opinion is spilt on whether the library should provide a special service area, as these areas are mostly used to provide extended water and sewer lines under unincorporated areas.

6. Village Board Agrees to Annex More Land - A newspaper article reporting that the Lake Bluff Village Board agreed to annex all of the area in School District 65 and the Lake Bluff Park District. The annexation would include areas north of Sheridan Road, Tangley Oaks, Arden Shores, and unincorporated areas within the school and park districts.
