2. 709 Sheridan Road - A letter from Trustees of the Village of Lake Bluff "to the residents and property owners of the Village of Lake Bluff, Illinois, who signed a petition pertaining to certain operations of the Coca Cola plant located at 708 North Sheridan Road, Lake Bluff, Illinois." The letter addresses "restricting parking and use of the streets by company trucks, ..." The "traffic hazard .. would be eliminated shortly, "since the plant is removing its operations form the building as soon as it completes its new quarters in Waukegan..." Although the document lists the address of the Coca Cola plant as 708 Sheridan Road, it is most likely today known as 709 Sheridan Road

Assorted handwritten notes about the location of various businesses - Assorted handwritten notes of various sizes regarding the location of various businesses in and around Lake Bluff, including Uptown, Carriage Way According to one page there was a restaurant owned by Teresa Jansz at 611 Sheridan Road in 1934 (The 1938 phone book lists a John Jansz owning a Tavern on Rockland Road); another restaurant at 8 East North Avenue in 1938 owned by Gus (Gustave) Kershner. Gus Kershner also lived there at the time, according to the phone book, (which did not mention the restaurant under his name). Ernest Wade had a grocery store at 34 East Center Avenue. According to Helen (Kennedy) Rose, her father, John Kennedy, owned a Nash automobile agency located at 709 Sheridan Road, where Ragsdale is currently located.
