3. Robert Emery's Obituary - Obituary for Robert Emery, Union Church pastor, printed in a 1974 Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Mail-Advertiser newspaper. After achieving high-level academic degrees at notable universities around the world and spending time as chairman of the Department of Religion and Philosophy at Morris Harvey College, Emery came to Lake Bluff in 1967 taking on the role of pastor at Union Church. He passed away on February 14th, 1974 at his 531 East Prospect home.
