Also a note by Elmer Vliet on orange paper states: "These papers from Al Kuhlman show conveyance of much land from Camp Meeting Trustees to Fred Cornish and subsequent transfers of North half of Ravine west of Gurney Ave to Vanderkloot. The vacation of Ravine Ave. from Gurney west to Glen was done in two steps. May 15, 1899 part from Gurney west to Prospect and on November 24, 1902, the part from Prospect southwest to Glen See also notes by EBV (Elmer Vliet) taken from Abstract of v.d. Kloot (Vanderkloot) property deeding ravine land to Eliz (abeth) V. D. Kloot May 12, 1899. 11-19-1974. EBV." Letter to the Village Board of Trustees - A Letter to the Village Board of Trustees dated May 22, 1899 from Adrian Vanderkloot stating he is the owner of Block nine (9) "together with all the land lying South and West of said Block 9 to the center of Ravine. This property is divided by a portion of Ravine Avenue which portion is not in use as a public Street at the present time and has not been used ... for about ten years. ... petitions that your honorable body will order the same to be vacated as by law required." Action of the board taken May 15, 1899.
