Occupation	Music Director and Founder of the Lake Bluff Camp Meeting Association Had a career in the building trades and real estate. - Joined the Chicago Builders and Trade Exchange in 1884. Was a Chorister, a band leader and singer, for several organizations including the YMCA and the Pacific Garden Mission. Was a founder of the Lake Bluff Country Club and Grace United Methodist Church.

Caption reads Let's just go back and walk down Prospect. Here's the old Howard house and Lyon's beyond. Harry Lyon and John Howard lived at 700 ? East Prospect Avenue and 710 East Prospect Avenue respectively. 710 was called Jungle Nook. Vera Haines Flach is the granddaughter of Dr. Jervice Evans, president of Hedding College who also headed the Lake Bluff Camp Meeting's cultural programs and owned part of the summer home at 456 Sunrise Avenue. The Honeywell's owned the other half of the home.

7. Whole Village Turned Out - A Daily News Sun from January 31st, 1921 which includes an article detailing Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lyon's Golden Wedding celebration held in the Village Hall auditorium. Harry Lyon and his wife are one of the original Lake Bluff Camp Meeting Association founders and when Lake Bluff became a village, Harry served as Village Trustee.
