The Story of Howard and Lucy Linn - A magazine article in Forest and Bluff written by Lake Forest archivist Arthur Miller titled Early 20th Century Trendsetters and Do-Gooders The Story of Howard and Lucy Linn. First page is a black and white photo of Lucy McCormick Blair Linn. The Linns lived at 555 Shore Acres Drive Lake Bluff in a house on the lake designed by architect Walter Frazier. The second page shows an upstairs billiard room, and an early picture of the couple. The Linns met while they worked at the Jane Addams Hull House in Chicago. During World War I Lucy was an ambulance driver for the Red Cross in France and Howard was in the aviation corps. Lucy also found the Junior League Club in Chicago ( See Photo 2411 )
