Educator and Puppeteer Lindman was an Elementary school teacher in the 1950s and a professor at Northeastern from 1960s-1994. She used puppets to tell stories to young children. She carved, decorated, and dressed dozens of puppets with her husband and her sister, Mary Griffith. - Her puppets starred in Just Imagine, a children's show airing on WGN-TV in the 1960s. She was featured at Ravinia's Murray Theater and Museum of Science and Industry. Lindman wrote training manuals for the Race Desegregation Institution and NASA. |
