1. Illinois State House Salutes Robert McClory - A Xerox article from Lake Forester October 13, 1983 State House Salutes Robert McClory, for his outstanding contributions to the State of Illinois and to the United States during his 32 years as a lawmaker. A picture of State Representative Virginia Frederick handing McClory a copy of the Illinois House of Representatives Resolution. Robert McClory (1908-1988) served as a US Congressman for 10 terms from 1962-76 and was a key figure in the Watergate impeachment proceeding against Richard Nixon. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1928 and from Chicago–Kent College of Law in 1932. He practiced law in state and federal courts in Cook County and Lake County. From 1933–1937 he served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. In Lake Bluff McClory lived on Prospect Avenue, was a long-time Boy Scout leader of Lake Bluff troop 42 and served as village attorney. (LBHM website)

7. Virginia Fiester Fredrick - Virginia Fiester Frederick was an Illinois Representative from 1979 to 1995. She lived in Lake Forest and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Lake Bluff.
