Lake Bluff Losing its Old Water Tower - An article in The News-Sun titled Lake Bluff Losing its Old Water Tower. The 66-year-old water tower standing across from Village Hall, which could store 100,000 gallons, is being replaced by a 1 million tank located at the public works site on Rockland Road. The new tank will store water for Lake Bluff when the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency turns on the tap in early 1992.
