2. Historic Block for Lake Bluff - Historic Block for Lake Bluff An article in the Pioneer Press about Gary and Jeff Lawrence, owners of the John Griffith Store Building nominated their building located in the 103 East Scranton to 113 East Scranton block. The brothers run Lawrence Interiors out of the building, which also holds Bluffington's Cafe and at one time the Lake Forest Bank and Trust. The building, designed by Stanley Anderson in 1925, of Anderson, Ticknor and Fox, Architects of Lake Forest, also holds four second floor apartments. The article shows a photo of the Griffith Block.
