Education	BA in English Literature from University of Michigan Studied Drawing and Illustration at the California College of Arts in Oakland Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts in Chicago
Occupation	Specializes in paintings of birds and wildlife. Created bird-themed products for The Nature Company and other national print companies. Beck's avian themed paintings have been juried into the prestigious international "Birds in Art" exhibition at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum of Art, Wausau, Wisconsin (2012-2016, 2018-2020, 2022-2024), selected for the museum's National Tours, and are part of the Museum's permanent collection. Recently won the Frances Trachok Memorial Scholarship award ar the American Women Artist's Annual Exhibition at the Loveland Museum of Art.
