Letters from Daniel Riley McMaster - Letters from Daniel Riley McMaster (1) Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster to Russell Baker enclosing a portion of the official record of the Lake Bluff Zoning Commission (2) Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster to Elmer Vliet clarifying a letter between himself and Mr. Kingsley. (3) Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster to Fred Fisher enclosing a copy of the Illinois Plan Commission Act. (4) Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster to James E. Payton letting him know the abstract of title and original survey for the Vanderkloot Subdivision were left at his house. (5) Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster to Charles A. Hummer enclosing the plat of the Green Bay Road Highlands Subdivision. (6) Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster To Ernest Olsen asking if he would be returning the copy of the map of the Subdivisions which McMaster had initially borrowed from Charles Hummer. Additionally, McMaster enclosed two copies of the Resolution and Recommendations passed by the Plan Commission so Olsen can forward a copy to Jacob Crane. McMaster states that the Resolution has an error and that he is not very satisfied with them. (7) Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster to Philip D. Armour detailing a request made by Orrie J. McCombs that McMaster forward Armour a copy of the Report and Recommendations which the Plan Commission formulated for presentation to the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lake Bluff. Additionally, it was requested for McMaster to enclose a copy of Jacob Crane's letter about the matter. McMaster then asks if Armour has any suggestions. (8) Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster to Orrie J. McCombs stating McCombs may wish to send a copy of Jacob Crane Letter to Philip Armour and other members of the Commission, therefore McMaster has enclosed two copies. (9) Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster to Jacob Crane stating he has received his letter. (10) Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster to the County Zoning Commission asking if the Interim County Ordinance copies are available for distribution. (11) Letter from Daniel Riley McMaster to Edward J. Hughes asking to receive a copy of the Plan Commission Act laws of 1921, page 20, if available in pamphlet form.

  23. Personal Notes of Daniel Riley McMaster - 1938 - Personal Notes of Daniel Riley McMaster - 1938 (1) Note Split into two. First: McMaster was telephoned by Orrie McCombs whom asked him to meet for lunch. Second: Upon meeting McCombs for lunch McMasters showed him Ernest Olsen's letter and wanted to get Jacob Crane in town on Saturday or Sunday so he could get the members together. (2) McMaster received a call at his home from McCombs where McMaster told him the result of his interview with Olsen's office and Olsen himself. (3) Note Split into two day. First, Aug 2, 1938: McMaster met McCombs for lunch after which he came to the office and read Olsen's report. McComb then said he would like copies of the letter and report to send to all members of the Plan Commission, including ex-officio member, and the Village Attorney. Second, Aug 3, 1938: McMaster took care of the above as McCombs did not call. After McMaster did some thinking he got together with McCombs and Jenkisson and deliver copies to Mr. Young, Mr. Staines, and Mr. Hummer. (4) Mr. Mueller called and said that learned McMaster received a report from the engineer and would like to receive a copy. (5) Received a call from Mr. Hummer and said he hoped the Plan Commission could meet Monday the 8th. (6) Met Mr. McCombs at lunch and showed him Jacob Crane's letter and he arranged to have notices sent out for the Monday night meeting. (7) McCombs called McMaster at the house and left him papers and a memorandum to be sent to Philip Armour. (8) Delivered a letter to Charles Hummer containing Plat of Green Bay Road Highlands Subdivision.
