One of a series of six note cards drawn and printed by Howard Moran. The image depicted in this card is of Village Hall, which was built in 1905 and designed by Webster Tomlinson. J. Howard Moran had a greeting card business from 1958 to 1976 called Designers Editions, in which he designed 25 Christmas card every year, as well created a set of note cards depicting 6 scenes of Lake Bluff. Moran later engaged in freelance artwork. He created a 14 panel, 6.5' by 30 feet mural which he created and painted. The mural depicted the history of Lake Bluff and hung in the then First National Bank of Lake Bluff. |
