The illustrations are likely from the February 1927 issue of Italian Opera publication : IL TEATRO. Marion Claire Cook Weber was an internationally known opera singer in the late 1920s and 1930s. In 1942, she sang in the Hollywood film Make a Wish. In 1942 she joined her husband, Henry Weber, in producing the Chicago Theater of the Air program on WGN radio. She was the daughter of Grace and Horace Cook and lived at 700 East Center Avenue. |
