At the time of the new design and construction for the new Lake Bluff Public Library building, Ann Beck served as the librarian. She coordinated a summer afternoon in 1975 to move library materials from the old building to the new building. Many residents volunteered to help Beck with the move resulting in that summer afternoon being remembered as a historic event. Copy of a forwarded email written by Mary Perusing written to inform of Ann's husband, Karl Beck, 30th Anniversary invitation acceptation. The email includes a quick history of Ann Beck's contribution with the new library. |
