The Lake Forester - The Lake Bluff post of the American Legion is preparing an Independence Day celebration, with a baseball game between Lake Bluff and Lake Forest. Mrs. John McCormick was involved in a car accident when her car landed in a ditch on Sheridan Road near Fort Sheridan. She received medical attention at the Fort hospital. Mrs. Harry McIntosh of 1130 North Sheridan Road, Lake Forest, is opening her gardens for the benefit of the Lake Bluff Orphanage. GIVES BUILDING TO ARDEN SHORE CAMP - Mrs, James Douglas of Lake Forest (Lake Bluff?) gives the gift of a building for nature study at Arden Shore. Mentions Miss Norma Watrous visiting her father in Lake Buff at the Manor house. |
