Opinion piece in the Pioneer Press from Sara Lamb detailing the truth around her departure from the Library. According to Lamb her departure was misrepresented in the newspaper and she did not resign as was published, however was terminated as the Library Board refused to accept her counter proposal during contract negotiations. Additionally, the Library Board was supposed to give Lamb early retirement, upon her request, however due to her termination Lamb was seeking legal representation. Lamb was seeking damages as a result of pain and suffering from a hostile work environment, wrongful termination, and age discrimination. |
