An email between Janet Nelson and Jesse Monestersky discussing the house at 240 East Prospect Avenue, in which Nelson states that James Hobbs purchased the property, (lots 40, 41, and 42 in Block three (3)) in 1886 from Johnstone E. Wilson and wife. In 1896 part of Lots 41 and 42 were sold to Julia Alling who was listed as the owner in 1900. Later Alvin Malsch owned the property in the 1930s. |
