"After six months of in combat anti-aircraft battalion in New Guinea, he was chosen, because of his previous United Press International service, to be executive editor of the newly formed Psychological Warfare Branch in Gen. Douglas McArthur's headquarters". Pioneer Press McCammon lived at 32 East Washington Avenue McCammon's file in the Museum contains many Pioneer Press articles written by him about his experiences during the war and local interest. |
